Subsidised Training by the NSW Government

Tailor-made training for your business

Smart & Skilled Funding

Vigil Training College (RTO Code: 40877) is an approved training provider for the NSW Smart & Skilled Program known as the Targeted Priorities Prevocational and Partial Qualifications (TPPPQ) Program. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

TPPPQ Program

The Targeted Priorities Prevocational and Part Qualifications (TPPPQ) Program is designed to respond to changing economic conditions and the skills needs of NSW by funding the delivery of part qualifications that meet local industry business and community needs.
This Program allows Vigil Training College to customise a part qualification to address skill needs for new or existing employees.

What is a part qualification?

A part qualification is a short training program made up of a skill set or units of competency selected from nationally recognised training package qualifications. This approach enables tailored training to meet individual needs, with learners completing only the modules necessary to acquire the desired skills.

Benefits of the TPPPQ Program

The TPPPQ program will help you:

      1. Make sure you have the people with the skills you need to grow your business.
      2. Save money on training and recruitment and reduce costs by increasing staff retention.
      3. Improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
      4. Be recognised and sought out as an employer of choice.

Note: Funding is subject to approval from the NSW Government.

Smart & Skilled Eligibility Criteria

Students eligible for subsided training must meet the NSW Smart & Skilled Criteria, which requires you to be:
            1. 15 years old or over
            2. No longer at school
            3. Living or working in NSW; and
           4. An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
This eligibility criteria can be found on the NSW Government’s website by clicking here.
Note: All students enrolling in subsidised training must have a Unique Student Identifier. You can create one here. If you need help with creating a USI, contact our team on 1800 97 97 66.
