Entry Requirements

There are no formal pre-requisites for this course.

However, students undertaking this course must meet the following criteria:

  • Have sound Language, Literacy & Numeracy Skills
    (You may need to do an LLN Test, see below for further details)
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have the required resources (see below)
  • NOT an International Student Visa Holder

Language, Literacy & Numeracy Skills:

You are not required to complete an LLN test, if you have successfully completed any of the following qualifications issued under the Australian Qualifications Framework:

School Certificate (Year 10) at an Australian Senior Secondary School, or equivalent; or

Vocational Education Training (VET) Certificate IV or above; or

Bachelor’s degree or above

You will be required to submit a verified copy of your certification, at the time of enrolment.

If you have not completed any of the above, you will be required to undertake an English Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test, prior to the commencement of the course.

If you are unable to pass this test and our training organisation is unable to provide with the LLN support required, you will be advised to undertake an LLN foundation skills course. Full Refunds are available if you have enrolled into the course and failed to meet the LLN requirements.

Students who are not confident with their LLN abilities we strongly recommend them to visit us personally before enrolling into the course.

Submission Required by students prior to enrolment:

Students must submit the following at the time of enrolment:

  • Unique Student Identifier (USI): If you do not have one, you can create one here.
  • One form of Valid Photo ID (Australian Driver License, State Issued Photo ID, or Passport)
  • Verified Copy of your previous qualification if you are seeking an exemption for the LLN test.

Resources Required:

Students enrolling in this course must have access to:

  • Laptop/Computer
  • Internet
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Similar Software
  • Acrobat Reader
  • Photo, audio, and video recording equipment (e.g., phone, camera, etc.)
  • Volunteers to assist with role-play tasks
  • Where possible, access to a workplace to complete your assessments. The assessments provide a simulated environment for students that are unable to access a workplace.

Receiving your certificate
You will receive your business course certificate within 10 business days from the date of submission of your final assessment task.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL means we will recognise your prior training and you will not need to repeat training you have already completed.

If you have skills and knowledge from prior education, work experiences, family and community experience that relates to your training, you may seek recognition of prior learning (RPL). If you believe you may be eligible for RPL, please contact our team prior to enrolment and we will support you in completing an RPL application, including gathering of required evidence.
